Eric Stucky is a motivated professional with a strong commitment to the pursuit of justice. Eric was raised in Moundridge, Kansas as the oldest of three children on a family farm. He attended college with the goal of attending law school. Growing up, Eric wanted to be a criminal defense attorney to ensure people’s constitutional rights were not violated by the state.
As a young adult, Eric developed a strong work ethic by helping his father on the family farm. Eric graduated from Bethel College Kansas Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in History and minors in Bible Studies, and Philosophy. In law school, Eric spent summers working for the Brown County District Attorney’s Office, and the Newton, Kansas, City Attorney’s Office.
In both high school and college, Eric participated in Debate and Forensics, earning numerous accolades and honing his public speaking skills. It was those same skills which served Eric well in law school as he participated in Moot Court and Phi Alpha Delta.
After graduating from law school, Eric obtained a position as a staff attorney with Kansas Legal Services in Emporia, Kansas. From 2008 through 2010, Eric handled cases ranging from family law to felony criminal cases, arguing on behalf of his clients almost daily at the courthouse. Eric later moved to Oklahoma and worked in the Oil and Gas Industry as a title-examiner, Landman, leasing agent, and curative agent.
In July 2016, Eric returned to Kansas to be closer to his immediate family, and accepted an associate attorney position with Cameron & Herrman, P.A. Eric handles primarily family law, traffic, and criminal cases. Eric’s clients find him to be very compassionate, hardworking, and articulate in his legal arguments. Eric takes the time to listen to his clients and understand their needs, so that he can aggressively represent their positions to the court.
When Eric is not advocating on his clients’ behalf in the courtroom, he enjoys spending time at home with his wonderful wife, voraciously reading, and spoiling his long-haired miniature dachshund, “Ginger.”
